Finding Lost Glasses

A few days ago, I woke up from an afternoon nap. I took a shower, dressed and then left the house to do some errands and go to work. For about an hour, I went about my business and then suddenly realized I was not wearing the glasses that I wear whenever I drive, work on the computer or leave the house. The only time I don't wear my glasses is when I am reading.

After 24 hours of not being able to find the glasses, I sent out an email to friends who would tap with me to find the lost glasses. I could actually feel the increased sense of energy around me while others tapped with me.

It took another 20 hours, but I found the glasses on the third day. They were in the tissue box on the passenger side of my car!

Surrogate Tapping for Canine Seizure

A 10-pound rat terrier came to live with me about five years ago. She is now at least 13 years old. At the beginning I watched her have several seizures where she would wake up thrashing and unable to control her limbs. The vet prescribed phenobarbitol in a very small dosage. A couple of years ago, my intuition told me to stop giving her the medication. I did not see a seizure until last night. She was curled up in her bed and began thrashing. As soon as I realized what was going on, I began surrogate tapping for her. This means I tapped on myself as if I were the dog.

I tapped all the usual spots, especially the collarbone, inside eyebrows and top of head. She was able to stand fairly quickly and managed to get herself outside. I tapped for her consistently and stayed near her (even though I was standing outside in my nightgown, tapping my body and talking to her outloud!). The entire episode was at least half the length of time of any previous seizure.

She came back inside, curled up in her bed and slept through the night.

I am so grateful to have learned to tap since her last seizure.

Tapping away Fear

Have you every found yourself stopped by an invisible wall that says, "NO, YOU CAN'T?" It almost doesn't matter what the topic is. These words in our brains create an energy field that literally stops us from progressing.

I want to stop feeding that energy field. I want to feed the energy field that says, "I CAN!" "I AM WILLING!"

Tap on the back of the left hand, between the metacarpals for the fourth and fifth fingers. I use the middle three fingers of my right hand. Tap gently and quickly. Breathe deeply. Close your eyes while tapping and breathing. Now open the eyes and look straight ahead. Look hard down right (at an angle). Look hard down left (at an angle). Move the eyes in a circle. Reverse direction and move the eyes in a circle. Now hum a few bars of a song (I use Happy Birthday). Count out loud from 1 to 5. Now hum a few more bars of a song. Breathe deeply. Stop tapping. Do you feel "I CAN; I AM WILLING; YES"?

Follow this with a round or two of regular tapping.
